LOCAL HERO: Los Angeles-based retailer Forever 21 has chosen a local face for its holiday campaign. Chanel Iman, who grew up in L.A., is in print images shot by photographer Dean Isidro themed “Let It Glow.” They show Iman wearing various items from Forever 21’s holiday collection, including feminine pieces in champagne, white and pink hues, and baroque-inspired pieces with embellishments and fake leather detailing. The holiday collection, which is priced from $4.80 to $38.90, hit stores worldwide late last month. Forever 21 has been stepping up its ads of late by hiring recognizable models. Iman follows Ashley Smith, who was photographed by Santiago & Mauricio for Forever 21’s fall ad campaign.
