GROUP DYNAMICS: Berluti has tapped Isabella Capece Galeota as its new director of image and communications, a new post, WWD has learned. Currently Louis Vuitton’s communications director in charge of public relations and events, Capece Galeota is expected to arrive in late March at the footwear specialist, which is being transformed into a luxury lifestyle brand for men. It is understood she will sit on the executive committee and is to have purview over advertising, public relations, events, digital and window displays.
At Berluti, Capece Galeota will be united with Antoine Arnault, who was communications director at Vuitton before taking up the management helm of Berluti in 2011. Capece Galeota has been in Vuitton’s p.r. department since 2007 and has also worked at Fendi and Giorgio Armani.
