Disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong, who repeatedly denied allegations of using performance-enhancing drugs, last Thursday gave his first confession on how he cheated the sports world for more than a decade. It was an admission that cost him the bronze medal from the Sydney Olympics in 2000, after already losing his sponsorship deals and seven Tour de France titles. The two-part interview was a ratings boon for Oprah Winfrey and should continue to be a hot topic at this week’s Outdoor Retailer show.
