Spanish boot maker Sendra is veering toward black this fall ’13 with a collection of industrial-inspired styles and biker looks, detailed in basic black. “We’re tired of rustic brown,” said design director Jamie Lawenda. “Black [boots] look more cleaned up, and the color gives them more options. They can be dressed up or down.” Set to retail from $175 to $400, the line is available at Halo in Portland, Ore.; City Soles in Chicago; and Colorado Footwear in Beaver Creek, Colo.
