London-based footwear label Mr. Hare has taken a laid-back detour for fall ’14.

Designer Marc Hare has launched a sneaker collection of three styles: the Jack Johnson high-top; the Cunningham low-top; and the Llewellyn skate slipper. The shoes are made in Italy of Italian leathers and are limited to 200 pairs per style. Priced from $475 to $585, the sneakers are part of Hare’s Tutto Nero collection and are all black.

Hare said that while he envisioned the high-top as his “favorite out-of-work shoe,” he designed the low-top and skate shoe “to be smart enough and chic enough to complement formal suits and evening wear,” he said. “I took a long time [to create] this range because I wanted to make sure it could exist in the same world as the other Mr. Hare shoes, where elegance, formality and actual red carpets are a reality.”

The collection will debut May 1 at,, Harvey Nichols in the U.K. and Hare’s online store and Mayfair boutique.
