A hub of trendiness, Beijing’s Sanlitun Village is a prime example of the progressive fashion statement that’s sweeping parts of China. The modern district, located in the central area of the city, features bars, restaurants and major retailers, including the largest Adidas store in the world, as well as Apple’s and Fossil’s first China stores. That said, the neighborhood tends to attract a younger crowd which, on a recent day, was spotted dressed in looks not unlike the West: leather biker jackets, mixed prints, skateboard sneakers and lots of denim.
