TO BULGARI: Could Jean-Christophe Babin be Bulgari bound? Industry sources say Babin, Tag Heuer’s longtime chief executive officer, is the leading candidate to succeed Michael Burke, who headed Bulgari from February until he left the Italian jeweler in December, in a surprise move, to succeed Jordi Constans as chairman and ceo of Louis Vuitton. Francesco Trapani, Bulgari’s long-standing ceo before Burke, has returned to steer the firm in the interim.
