Riccardo Tisci to Be Honored at Alicia Keys' Black Ball

Givenchy's artistic director will receive the KCA Humanitarian Award at the Oct. 30 event to benefit Keys’ nonprofit organization Keep a Child Alive.

TISCI HONOR: Riccardo Tisci, Givenchy’s artistic director, will be honored at Alicia Keys’ Black Ball on Oct. 30. The event, which will be held at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York, will benefit Keep a Child Alive, Keys’ nonprofit organization that raises funds for youths in the fight against AIDS.

Tisci will receive the KCA Humanitarian Award for “inspiring new and compassionate ways of thinking through his bold and unapologetic voice in challenging discrimination, while breaking cultural barriers in the fashion industry,” according to the group.

The event, now in its 11th season, has raised more than $22.6 million for children and families affected by HIV.
