LIVE FROM MACY’S: Macy’s customers and interested onlookers waited in the rain for about an hour to see Steven Tyler pose in the Macy’s windows with daughters Mia and Chelsea to promote the Andrew Charles rock ‘n’ roll collection. When Tyler finally stepped into the windows, he grabbed the mike, said a few words and mugged for the cameras. Customers with backstage passes (who made Andrew Charles purchases on Thursday) then headed up to the eighth floor and waited on line to pose with Tyler. “That freak style I wear on stage you can buy now at Macy’s,” Tyler said. “It’s an honor for me to be part of the Hilfiger family,” said Tyler, referring to brothers Andy and Tommy Hilfiger, who were both in attendance, and are partners in Music Entertainment Sports Holdings, a division of LF USA, in partnership with Star Branding. “We’ll see what happens. I’m aiming high and God knows where this is going to go, but it’s going to be good,” said Tyler.
