LONDON, HIYA: KCD, which today officially opens its London office inside the studio complex of multichannel creative agency Spring, has made several key hires for KCD London. Former president of Turner Broadcasting Europe Nan Richards joined as managing director. Adam Shapiro, who worked at the public relations and events agency in New York for five years before moving to Burberry in London and serving, most recently, as senior manager of public relations for continental Europe, rejoins KCD in the London office on Oct. 22.

KCD London is part of a strategic partnership formed with Spring, the London-based agency, which was announced in July. KCD’s London branch will work closely with the New York and Paris offices, with KCD executives Rachna Shah, Kerry Youmans and Txampi Diz serving as strategic consultants. Among the confirmed clients for London are Prabal Gurung, JustOneEye.com and a special project for Kate Moss and Marc Jacobs this fall.
