HORSE PLAY: Gucci will go all out for Georgina Bloomberg, professional equestrian and daughter of New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, this evening with a private cocktail event from 6 to 8 p.m. at its Palm Beach boutique. The event will honor the publication of the budding author’s latest young adult novel, “My Favorite Mistake.” Bloomberg’s roman à clef revolves around a teenage star equestrian with a famous financier father navigating the fast-paced world of horse shows. Gucci will be donating 10 percent of the sales from the event to the Equine Fund, which provides grants to horse rescues across the country.
