DUNHILL TAPS RAY: John Ray has joined Dunhill as a creative consultant, looking after the brand’s entire range of clothing, accessories and leather goods, a company spokeswoman said. She said Ray’s first full collection will be for spring 2014. It is understood that Ray has been working with Dunhill since September. Ray has been keeping a low profile since stepping down as Gucci’s men’s wear designer in 2006. In 2004, Ray became part of a design triumvirate at Gucci following the departure of Tom Ford as creative director. He worked alongside Frida Giannini, who is now the brand’s sole creative director, and the designer Alessandra Facchinetti, who has her own line of clothing.
