CHARLOTTE’S DAY JOB: British cobbler Charlotte Olympia is getting ready to address the basics of a woman’s accessories wardrobe. The designer is launching two new collections with the professional woman in mind with a collection of leather day bags and sensible shoes fit for the corporate boardroom. The bags, which retail from $1,195 to $2,995, will come in four styles, with a key bag being the Bogart, which is a retro style top handle structured bag with a flap closure that comes with a pair of gloves that snap onto the top of the bag. Other styles include a tote and clutch shape.

The 9 till 5 collection of shoes, according to Olympia, “mean business,” and include a pointy toe pump, a vamp buckle style pump and a sensible chunky heel style in suede and leopard print. They range in price from $635 to $896 retail. Lest they seem too pedestrian, each shoe features a clear PVC detail for a peekaboo touch.

Each pair comes in a box designed as a briefcase and with a pair of hose. Perfect for the job that pays for the other Charlotte Olympia styles.
