BEAUTY TALK: The Giorgio Armani Beauty luncheon Thursday, above the Giorgio Armani store on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, was certainly not the place to catch stars without their makeup. The brand’s makeup artists worked their magic on Madeleine Stowe, Melissa Leo, Olivia Munn, Frances Fisher and Eva Amurri Martino. Leo loved the results, but getting her makeup done isn’t an activity she’d choose every day. “It’s a means to an end for me more than something I enjoy. I have pretty much spent my life as a bare-faced woman,” she said.
Given a bright lip, Munn sported a look not customary for her. “My go-to makeup look is what I call doll face. I’m half Asian, so my eyes can kind of disappear. I like to make things fresh-faced, with a nice rounded eye, just a little smudged,” she said.
Checking out her makeup in a mirror, Fisher raved about the deep burgundy lip color. “I hope they give me this so I can touch it up,” she wished aloud.
